Given the poor quailty of the Elite Strap and overpriced included case and battery pack this really should be cheaper. Any way to get this for closer for closer to $100?

I bought this Oculus for my daughter for christmas but the stock headstraps make the unit sag or point upward. Depending on how tight or loose the strap is. There isn't a perfect fit area where the unit sits flat and correctly over her eyes. Is there a better option for this problem? Will this elite strap work?

I've been considering this too but the reviews are not the best...straps breaking, case just a piece of cloth covered cardboard...sounds like you are paying for the battery strap and getting a cheap case as a bonus.

If the unit sags, just adjust the center strap and shorten it. Or adjust the sides as the pivot.

A vive deluxe audio strap and add a 10k mah battery is actually less $ and a much better, durable option.

Just need a $10 adapter to fit the quest, well worth it, have both.

Got this from Walmart a couple of days ago. The battery helps balance the front loaded weight of the oq2. The strap is a huge improvement over the strap that comes with the oq2. The case is very high quality. A little pricey but worth it IMHO.

It's a bundle of two products, one you cannot get outside of a bundle, that both have horrid quality control.
Avoid like the f-ing plague.

Why spend so much on a defective elite strap when you can get a cheaper 3rd party one for $30?

Design-wise, the Elite Strap works really well. But there have been issues with quality control and reports of straps breaking prematurely. I'm debating if I want to go with a third party strap, or get this and spring for a protection plan to replace it when it breaks. So I'm open to suggestions from the community.

There are cheaper third party straps like this one [amazon.com]with good reviews. But I like how the battery integrates with the Elite Strap. Aside from adding playtime, it acts as a counterbalance for the unit, improving fit and comfort.

P.S. If you don't need the battery and carrying case, you can buy just the strap [amazon.com] here.

For me at least, it's for the extra battery integration. I've yet to find a third party strap that does it as cleanly as the Elite Strap. If there's one out there, I'd love to know about it!

Have this, evens out the weight distribution problem greatly. Highly recommend
