No WireGuard, and no plans of implementing WireGuard. Big NO from me. For only a little more, $18 a year, I'll take the WIndscribe deal instead.

For those who don't know, WireGuard is the latest, greatest and most secure VPN Protocol. It uses modern encryption, is light on code, open source, reviewed and audited and is stateless! That means much better battery life when using it on your phone or laptop... it also means your router (if it supports WireGuard) will get much better speeds than when using old and clunky OpenVPN.

I also think supporting WireGuard is a good indicator on if a VPN company is mature and has some grasp of what they're doing.

I found out today that my IPVanish can't do port forwarding, which puts a damper on bittorrent usage. https://www.reddit.com/r/VPNTorre...orwarding/

Note also that Windscribe in the other deal does allow port forwarding:

Depending on your application Wireguard might not be desirable. Some providers are doing double NAT to address some of the concerns but if total privacy is a goal Wireguard is not the best. Google it up or read https://restoreprivacy.com/vpn/wireguard/

This applies to new customer accounts. Can not be combined into previous account. Code is also dead.
