I guess it's a good deal, but it looks like they literally took a 2x12 from the lumberyard and cut it with a miter saw, then stained it.

Bought this...no burn in stamp like all other boos blocks. It seems to be painted on, which will eventually wear off.
For the prestige of the boos block, you buy it to have for entertaining. If you buy this after a while it will look like a piece of regular walnut wood cutting block.
Some people may like that but I will be returning next week.

It's a nice looking board, but face grain cutting boards don't last as long as side or end grain boards. And face grain is harder on the knives.
