If you are already paying for the online service it is nice to maximize the value of it as much as you can. That is how it is a deal. I wasn't going to buy xbox live gold, but my nephews come play it. The xbox one games need xbox live gold to be active for them to work, but the xbox 360 games do not. Once you get a xbox 360 game with gold it is yours forever or until they shutdown the server and you can't download it again. I keep an eye out for these post where you can get an extra game with your service from another country like Japan or Brazil. Thanks OP!

Worked fine for me.

Make sure to stay in the Japan store. Chrome's auto translate is helpful here.

It works. Just click the link and make sure you click to stay in the Japan Store instead of switching to the English US Store. Then use the browser Translate feature and you will be able to read the words. The "Get" box was worded as "Obtain" after translation.

I think they gave this out on the US site at some point. If you sign in and see a blue check mark that means you already own the game.

Good chance to get it now if you missed it, whenever that was lol
