I've had a couple sets of the old triangles (about 28 tiles total) and have decided against investing any further in any products from this company. The app has undergone several changes over the years without any improvement in reliability or usability. In fact, it's become less intuitive to change or do anything as well as a loss in some key features. You also have a pair the lights with every single device you intend to use to control them (even though the app supports cloud sync). Finally, their customer service is 100% garbage. Their phone number is difficult to find and when dialed, nobody ever answers. Voicemails are never returned. They have an online form that you can submit support tickets through, but again, there's rarely a response. Even after hounding them on Facebook for weeks, I barely got a response. Despite seemingly no one around to support customers, they don't seem to have any issues with constantly promoting their overpriced products at any chance.
In the end, my opinion of these lights is that if they worked and/or had support on the same level of Philips Hue, they'd be worth $15-20 per panel that you can regularly find them on sale for. But since they don't work that well and have virtually no support behind them, they're pretty much on the same level as the generic cheap-o lights on Amazon that you can get for just a few dollars. Throw in the fact that these are not compatible with the newer "Shapes" panels pretty much make these worthless since expansion will soon be impossible due to a halt in production.
