Go deal hunting to various Walmarts and deal with hidden stick, 'lost' stock, ask-request-beg to employees is my worst nightmare. The deals are great but the time and energy spent is just not worth it.

Do note that the Walmart API is broken for this deal. I went to three walmarts around me that reported 6+ in stock at $99 but none of them even had a single patio heater. Just clearance grilling stock in the section it would have been in.

The fire sense deal from a few weeks ago is a much better deal. My Walmart still has a pallet of them, and I'm guessing most stores do as well.

Interestingly this is one of the very very few Walmart deals where they actually had the item at my store. I never go out of my way for Walmart deals anymore.

Thanks for the reminder, my Walmart said they were out when I saw this deal earlier but just checked again and read low inventory and was able to pickup two! Was with a pile of crap in a corner of the garden section

It looks like this version has a hinged door for propane vs lifting up the cover on the fire sense model... I have the fire sense and am content with it, but wish it had the hinged door for easier access to shut off the propane.

Will this heater work in an outdoor dining space that is in a wood structure and the windows are sealed in plexiglass and the doors remain closed when nobody is entering/exiting?

Yes this will work great at creating a poisonous carbon monoxide environment in those conditions.

This one or spend a bit more for the Costco one at $199?

I purchased the Costco one. It looks great and heats up quickly. Standing next to it in 40 degrees with the heat on high is uncomfortably hot.

Thanks, I ended up jumping on the Walmart one for $109. Hopefully I don't regret it. Might keep my eye on the Costco one this summer for 2nd one if prices drop

Patio heaters should never be used under a roof or covered porch due to potential fire hazard.

But I assume you're talking more about carbon monoxide. Ideally propane creates an ideal burn during combustion and there is no danger of carbon monoxide poisoning. But I would never risk it.

Did you ask an employee? Mine were able to find one in back and I was able to find the pallet of them myself on the very top of the lawn and garden storage. I bought one, but will most likely buy another.
I did, however Walmart employees (at least in my area) seem to act like you're asking them to run a marathon nowadays when you ask them to check inventory. I think their inventory API and dealseekers are causing them a lot of headaches.

A few weeks back I went to one after a $39 Bissel steam cleaner deal came up and was reported as being in stock. I ran into three other people seeking the same deal, phones in hand checking UPCs on the shelf. Then I went to the nearest Walmart employee to see if they would check stock and they actually rolled their eyes and told me that I was the fourth person to ask them in the past hour.

What's the difference between this and this one: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Tall-Mo.../651485856

I bought that last week for $119. Other than the price and slight difference in look wondering what is the difference. Looks like the one I got has way better reviews

i got 2 of the firesense ones a few weeks ago. I have been storing in screened in patio and dragging out when we used them, would these items be ok to be left outside in the weather or nah?

I bought one a few years ago for about this price. Works great. It did take awhile to start this winter. The heat didn't seem to reach me very well sitting in a patio chair, but it was very cold. I have a cover for it and the wind ended up bending it where the pole bolts to the tank. I ended up popping it back into place. It does fall over pretty easy without a propane tank in it, but it could be the cover adding surface area. Worth $100.

It will keep everyone warm for the rest of their lives...which will be cut short as they die in that room.

So an enclosed outdoor dining area traps particles inside where these paticles may end up inside people lungs and may cause serious health hazards? Hmmm. I wonder if New York City restaurants know about this?
