I can't speak to this dishwasher but I just bought a Bosch from this website and the whole process was pretty smooth. Fair warning, if you get white glove delivery you will have to pay a fee if they have to go up any stairs.

BIGTHANKS25 should give you $25 off

Can vouch for quality of Miele dishwashers. Ours is 14 years old. Still does an outstanding job of cleaning and never had a problem. Added bonus is parts are available for many more years than average Manufacturers should you ever have a need. Highly recommend.

I got a Bosch SHSM63W55N. It was recommended on Wirecutter and our friend has a Bosch that they were very happy with as well. I've only had it for a couple days but it's extremely quiet and was easy to install, I did it myself. The front either smudges easy or i have very greasy hands so be prepared to wipe it often.

I did have a lot of issues finding places that had Bosch dishwashers in stock. We had tried to order from quite a few places that said they were 4-6 weeks backordered. Originally we ordered a higher end model from Appliances Connection because it said the model we wanted wasn't in stock for a couple weeks. We ended up getting a message that the model we ordered wasn't in stock yet but we could swap it for the Bosch SHSM63W55N which had just come back in stock, which is what we had wanted in the first place.

edit: i will say Wirecutter rated Miele as an overall better brand saying on average their dishwashers last twice as long as other ones. They rated a more expensive model as their upgrade pick. I would definitely compare the options between them I don't think you can go wrong with either brand.

Nice price for a high end brand. I had it in my old apartment and it was great.

I drive by this Experience Center frequently:

Adds a bit of confidence in buying a Miele product. You can find one or Miele dealers near you at https://www.mieleusa.com/c/dealer-search-15.htm
appliancestorediscount doesn't look like an authorized dealer.

Pump was $500 through their vendor. Control panel was $700. Again extremely expensive parts but boy did that dishwasher work well when it did. Also the parts ship from Germany and take about 3-4 weeks to get here give or take. In our area only 1 guy works on Miele.
At that price for repairs, where you could've bought a new dishwasher for the same price, did you still think the Miele was worth it? Considering this deal but the cost of potential repairs is daunting.

I bought a miele classic 5 years ago, and it is already in a landfill. It was a piece of garbage. The non-return valve had to be replaced twice. It was an easy fix I did myself, but the part was $30-$40ish. The water evac (which is what they call their water inlet valve) had to be replaced for $300ish last year. This year the water heater died and they wanted $500 to repair. Instead I replaced it with a Bosch at the service technician's recommendation. The repairman said that newer Miele dishwashers aren't nearly as good as the old ones, and in his experience Bosch makes the best dishwashers now. He had seen lots of problems with Miele, and the parts are crazy expensive. I still love Miele vacuums, but I won't be buying any of their other appliances based on my awful experience with that dishwasher.

Nope you gotta go through their service vendors for parts. I had a Miele dishwasher (the LaPerla) which was the top of the line back in 2012. Problem after problem after problem. Pump was $500 through their vendor. Control panel was $700. Again extremely expensive parts but boy did that dishwasher work well when it did. Also the parts ship from Germany and take about 3-4 weeks to get here give or take. In our area only 1 guy works on Miele.

Eventually recycled the Miele and put in a Bosch 800 from Bestbuy when Miele told us we'd have to start putting in our own money for the repairs. I asked the repair guy what he recommended and he said Whirlpool and Bosch. Where the Miele died after maybe 100ish cycles the Bosch has been going for close to 1100 cycles with no issues. I will say I had the absolute junk model Miele ever made and they knew about it too but my service stories are still relevant as it's been the same run around for repairing my freezer and microwave. This dishwasher most likely won't give you the trouble mine did but when they work they work exceptionally well. The Bosch is good but not as exceptional as the Miele. At least the Bosch machines are made in the USA and their parts are cheap and available locally.
I had a Miele Classic with a similar set of problems to yours. I used to respect that brand name a lot, but now not so much. When it worked the machine did work well, but I have to say that my Bosch 800 series actually washes a bit better. The Miele had trouble with frying pans that were used to make scrambled eggs whereas the Bosch has no issue.

I would just consider those brands that I am more familiar with, like Bosch, LG, KitchenAid. They at least have a lot of customer reviews online.

Thank you for your comment. We also have a Miele vacuum and love it. So I was thinking of getting this.

It seems that Miele in Germany is different for appliances than those in America.

That is disappointing to hear.

I have had one for two years, works great and really like it. Except, for some reason the plastic dishes don't dry. Yes we had a technician out who says he fixed it. It was better. But cleans great and love it! Would buy it again!

You are lucky. I'm replacing my Bosch "top of the line" for the second time in eight years. The first one crashed after three years and the second one at the five year mark. Won't buy LG either. My refrigerator, microwave and stove had to be replaced after 5 years. 😫 Just bought a Samsung on Monday dishwasher on Monday. Hoping for better luck.
Samsung dishwashers not too reliable as per Consumer Reports. Bosch or KitchenAid for dishwashers are the way to go. Highly reliability does not equate to 0% chance of encountering issue. It just provides comparison of likely hood of having an issue between different models/brands.

I had horrible luck with this brand. First dishwasher was delivered damaged. They took it back and sent a new one. The new one looked okay at first but it never started. It took months of emails and calls with the company only to have them refuse to cover it under warranty because I was using it at my business instead of a residential home. I cannot in good faith recommend anyone but products from them but to each their own. I'm sure most of the units work just fine.

Check ajmadison.com. Promo are all factory promo, so brand website should have the details. Any authorized dealer will work.
I've had bad experiences with AJ Madison. They have terrible customer support. I waited for an oven for over a month and it never came

I think this is just plastic in general. Even with Jet Dry in our whirlpool I end up putting all plastic on the dish rack for an hour or so to finish drying.
