I have had this TV for about 2 1/2 years and can say it has been pretty good to us. We got the 4 years extended warranty which brought it to around $250. The built in speakers are terrible so budget for a soundbar. I paired it with a Yamaha ATS 1070 for $90 from Costco, so total cost was $340+tax.
The picture is pretty good, but sometimes struggles with low quality resolution (480p or lower), but then again that is great to begin with. Keep in mind this has no HDR, but it is a budget TV. Mine has HDMI Arc which is great to use. We use it in a bedroom daily (4k Firestick & Xbox One S) and haven't had any issues.
Also, I have known about Sceptre since the early 90s as a computer monitor company.
