This looks very similar to one my son got as a present a couple of years ago. His is white, and was branded more as a science/learning toy if I remember right. But the design and function, including lights and tongue, appear to be exactly the same. Both of my boys like playing with it - setting up the bugs around the room and driving around the chameleon to eat them. They tire of it after a while but if your kids are into creative play and remote control stuff it's kind of cool. Funny story - my son swears one night the red lights turned on and the chameleon started moving towards his bed sticking the tongue in and out. He ran out of the room and makes sure it's not in his room at night now! I'm guessing it was just a glitch and the batteries were dying but it was still funny.
