I can't imagine the battery drain is THAT bad, I mean the JoyCons "charge" via the same mechanism these grips get power.

But, to add to the list of minuses, also no Gyro controls, and there are a few shrines in BOTW where it's required.

I will say one of the big pluses would be the fact that you can put it right on the normal dock with the controllers attached, which is something you can't do with the Satisfye Grip.

I play my Switch in portable mode about 95% of the time, so I think I'll give these things a try and see if there are any QC issues. I mean Amz is showing 4.6/5 on 11k reviews. I don't care that much about Rumble and no Amiibo support is an annoyance, not a dealbreaker.

I've got this and I'll offer my experience ($40 @ Best Buy after price matching to Amazon a few weeks ago). Overall, the size is good; much better than the existing joy-cons (and makes playing in handheld mode much more comfortable). The thumbsticks also feel solid and good.

Downsides: the face buttons (ABXY) feel a little cheap, and the triggers are so-so. Haven't found a use for the added buttons on the back yet. I'll also need to get a new case, unless I want to keep removing them from the Switch when not in use.

I was really excited to get this, but now am torn on whether to keep it.
