I thought it was a great deal until i found out that most of the parts are proprietary. Correct me if i'm wrong but even the GPU is their own custom GPU which means you can't just replace it with a full size 4070/5070 next time. There's also people complaining of thermal issues. That being said, ts a fantastic price @ $1199 for a 3070 but be aware of the limitations.

Considering the street value of even a used 3070 is north of $800 right now, this should sell out in all of about 6 seconds.

7 replacements? Your persistence is commendable.

Anything proprietary inside this PC that would prevent future upgrades?

Why does it say Ryzen 5000 series processor but it's 3700X?

I have an R8. Almost everything is upgradable. I've upgraded the RAM, the NVME and the power supply. The video card is upgradeable as well. The PSU was a little tricky because the form factor does not fit every PSU but there are enough PSUs out there that fit fine.

So its not quite as easy as upgrading a DYI, but certainly not a deal breaker IMO.

my Alienware X51 had thermal issues that kept rebooting the system. i had to buy extra years of warranty but even then, my computer was never fixed after 7 replacements.

Yeah, I've had 3 mainboard swaps in my r15 laptop, I'll never buy dell again.

Seems like a great deal to me, it will be one of the cheapest deals that will allow decent gaming on a 4K monitor.

Wonder if these systems will sell out in a short amount of time, or available for a while after the deal starts at 4PM?
