Blower style GPUs are loud. The CPU water cooling is a single fan radiator (120mm, I think), so it revs up a lot.
Won't be able to fit most GPUs in case, most are too long, many are also too wide.
Motherboard has no flashback, they pushed me a BIOS update through Alienware Update and it bricked the computer for 30-days until they got a new one in stock
I had an R11 10700k, sold the stock 2080s for $480, upgraded to a 3070 FE and sold it for $2k local, made $500 on the deal but really didn't like owning the computer
Definitely good deal for those who don't want to build or want to stay away from lower quality mass producers
I was using a 3070 XC3 / 5900x in the new computer I built and I was getting upwards of 6-9 FPS more in MSFS 2020 (at 4K) than in the Alienware R11 10700k 3070 FE. Only thing I can potentially attribute those frames differences to is maybe the motherboard - frankly have no idea.
But not worth spending $1,200 in my honest opinion. Unless you thinking $800 for RTX 3070 that you are going to put in a better system or something. Case, cpu, ram, PSU are not worth getting.
