I signed up. I live in Atlanta and pay $150/mo for Comcast 1gb internet (which rarely performs at half of that). If it can cover my needs, I will just ditch comcast and go with it. Also, I will be able to pack it into my RV for campsite use, which will be huge! My wife and I are working remote, so we will potentially be able to load up the RV and work from anywhere.

This deal is obviously not for everyone, but if you can get by with 100-200mbps, then that is pretty slick, especially if you can take it anywhere.

viasat and other traditional satellite internet providers don't compare though. you can't game because the latency is unheard of, most have data caps that are pathetic.

This is for fixed service, for now. Unless you're using it close to home, the same cell, it won't work.

Mobile will be offered eventually.

Suddenly today, T-Mo tells me I'm eligible and took my order for home internet.

As a practical matter, I don't see myself needing more than 25.
(streaming of TV, music)
My parents have 100+ with Comcast, don't use it for anything more than checking AOL mail.

Currently the rules say you can't take it on the road... it's configured to only work within a certain area around your address... Reddit says mobile use is down the road. (No pun intended)

Do you have to have a set location? I am planning on moving late 2021 to a house that never had cable installed and to avoid any fees for wiring from street to house I wanted to go with this. I would like to use it where I am now and at the next house later.

I did not see any mention of data caps, that would be the deciding factor, if they enforce caps, this service will not be worth it depending on how low the cap is set.
Good for RVs but technically they do not want you moving around with the service right now. I am sure that is going to be available before too long. And it does seem to work if you move it around, but its discouraged.
