Citi warranty doesn't cover refurbished items, but I've never tried so not sure how investigative they are when they review a claim.

edit: Citi changed language and seems like it does cover refurbished now since its not in the "Not Covered"

The costco citi extended warranty covers items with a manufacturer's warranty.
This item is sold by Dyson with a 6 month warranty.

You know what. I just read through the terms and it seems like they've changed the language to not specifically state refurbished items as "not covered."

Previously, when I got this card, the terms stated items were not covered if

- The item is used, customized, altered, refurbished or secondhand.

But now that term was replaced by:

Used, antique or pre-owned items.

I usually buy all products with this card anyway so glad to know I may be covered.

I've bought these as gifts from the Ebay Dyson outlet store (refurb) and they've been working with no issues for a few years now. Seems like these are shipped by Dyson so probably the same deal (theyre about the same as the refurb on Ebay on sale).

Great reviews for what I saw on newegg and was in the market for one for the wife, will give it a try, it's quiet a bit more than what I wanted to spend, no tax and free shipping helped. Thank you.
