Put your PBJ and bananas in a bucket for five years.
I find it amusing that these emergency foods are pictured with parsley and other toppings on a set table in gleaming cookware.

Shouldn't they be shown cooked in a tin can over a fire of pillaged library books?
Great first post and deal!!! This same item is $142.89 on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003DL8OS8. Again, great job on your first post and thank you!

I prefer mountain house. They are not as carb heavy as these. Mountain house has some actual protein/meat in their meals.

Not to say this isn't a good deal, but not exactly sure what's in this bucket. It's not the same as the Amazon/Readywise listing since the Amazon/Readywise one has 18,240 calories, but this Walmart one has 16,920. I'm guessing that based on the pictures, it's the same types of items, but maybe different quantities of each?

Also, this Readywise slickdeal is still around and slightly less costly on a per calorie basis. But the bucket itself might be worth it to keep it protected from rodents/insects - https://slickdeals.net/f/18269740-readywise-60-serving-emergency-food-supply-ready-grab-bag-48-62-free-shipping

This is interesting, i recently bought the Costco in-store '132 serving' kit for $64. It has 80 servings of 'entrees', an 8 serving pudding pack and 44 servings of drinks.

Its hard to say if this has a leg up on that, its a tiny bit more heavy on reasonable breakfast/dinners but overall 4 bucks more for a bigger bucket and some pudding and drink mix.

On the other hand, the entrees here are a little different so might be worth picking up for variety's sake.

The rodents/insects are actual a feature. Extra protein.

What is the Expiration Date of the food? It must be near expiration to be discounted that much. Keep that in mind.
