I went to Best Buy to look at this exact same Laptop. I ended up getting an Alienware 17" screen instead. OLED looked amazing but for a 15 inch, the font would be too small for my eyes. I decided to get a 17 inch 1080p instead. They had a great deal on a fair condition but looked new Alienware 17 inch. Plus with opening a Best Buy card, you get an additional 10% off. Ended up being cheaper than a scratch and dent or refurbished on Dell.com Outlet. Best Buy has some pretty good deals if you want a laptop. Consider a returned one, you'd be surprised what great condition they are in.

Yeah, its not 100% sure thing, but definitely "Fair" and "Satisfactory" have a good enough rate of actually being "Excellent" they just don't have packaging anymore and usually no manual or spare parts (if any were actually included).
They offer a retail warranty as if it was new too.

How bad is the OLED burn-in? thats all I want to know?
Nevermind seems the OLED screen has same banding and other issues that plague LG and other OLED TVs
Was hoping to use it as temp OLED screen as iphone and other OLED too small and don't want to take chance on larger OLED TV i.e. hassles of having to replace it etc if it has issues. Lot easier to just return 15" laptop Does Bestbuy still charge restocking fee and need to see how long their return policy is since they got some in stock at my local BB.

Personally, I have a powerspec 1720, and I get the idea of having 4k oled, but I travel with a 240 hz/ 24.5 inch monitor with me that I connect.
I think if you are serious about mobility and gaming, you're going to get a laptop for the form factor, and attach your own keyboard/mouse and separate monitor (if possible).
Other than that I think 4k at 15 inch is relatively useless, unless your are gaming within 6 inches of the screen.

I bought this actually a month ago with the protection plan and would say that it's worth the $1300. I originally paid $1449. My experiences have been good thus far. Make sure to do all the Dell updates (including bios) to mitigate the heating issue. The fans can get loud, but nothing annoying. Remember, this is a gaming laptop and not a desktop so expectations should be realistic. I got it for the 4K OLED which looks great when you're watching content. I like the design with it having the ports in the back and the fliptop lid.

I haven't had to travel for work since last year for the obvious reasons, but I personally use 2 external monitors that run off USB-C. I'm not a video editor by career, but I do dabble. For most techie jobs, I can't fathom not having multiple monitors. Just so much easier to have a repository/files, timeline/options and output on separate screens when editing.

Some of these do not run off the GPU when using the type C to monitors. My Dell G3 does not. If your not gaming not as big a deal. I agree to work I need two extra monitors.

Curious what it cost you ? I got an M17 R3 with 4K & raid 0 SSD, 2070 super, from Dell as a scratch & dent for $1540 around BF.
