Why not get Gloomhaven PC? It's early access it but we've got a small group going and we really enjoy it

I guess. Second the video game though it doesn't have a full campaign yet as far as I know. Or check out Tabletop Simulator.

If doing webcam, you'd need someone to DM to control the pieces on the "board" and the monster AI.

Yes, as much as any other game is. You would probably want one person to manage the monster decks.. maybe spread out the creature types across the players to lighten everyone's load. Running the monsters and such through the Gloomhaven Helper app would be even better and IIRC it can sync across everyone's phones and such if all players don't mind an extra $5 buy-in.

Got mine today from Amazon...it has no cellophane, and has no tape/stickers on the edges holding the box closed.

The box even has a scuff on the corner (which could be from shipping).

Is no cello or tape holding it closed normal for a "new" copy of the game?
