If you want to switch now, you can order a free GSM SIM through your account. Or if you are happy with the Sprint coverage, you can wait until they tell you that you have to migrate.

Go to My Tello > My Phone > Bring a new phone.
Then enter your current IMEI (or a different IMEI if you plan to use a different phone).
Select "No, I need one - $9.99" when the page asks you if you have a SIM.
Then click on continue, which will take you to the checkout page where you can finalize the order. The $9.99 will come off on the final page. It defaulted to a paid shipping option, but I was able to change to free shipping.

I would go for the stack social deal instead. More data, more months
I have 5 lines using the $7 plan (1gb , 100 min, unlimited text) using the referral dollars and have no issue with them.

It doesn't, unless you want to start a new line.

Have you gone all the way to checkout? As a new customer, it should offer it to you for free at the end (take the charge off as a credit). Existing customers, such as myself, can't get the offer, but can still get a new free SIM by putting in the IMEI of a new compatible TMobile device. You'll get the free SIM (w/o the half price offer) in about a week.

New customers can also get a referral code from an existing customer to get another $10 in free credit -- since this is basically a 50% discount for three months I'd suggest just using that and then using the $10 for more service (you must have enough Tello credit to pay the entire bill). It may work that the Tello credit even pays for the discounted second or third month (as long as the plan is under $10)

I'm stuck at the IMEI check. Let me see if I can pass through it. Send me your ref and I'll use it

To the checkout page and still wants to charge me $10 for the SIM😤

I do not see option to port a number. It only shows new number allocated by Tello. Also, it still wants to charge me $10 for SIM card.
