I bought the AUKEY-EP-T25 in Nov and I LOVE them. (These are the T27s, so I don't have really have 1st hand experience) I just won a pair of AirPods and did a side by side test the other day. Here are my thoughts.

Music
Winner - AirPods, but not by much. I didn't have any complaints with my T25s. AirPods are just a bit cleaner. Non-snobs will have no problem with Aukey.

Phone calls
Winner - AirPods: The T25s work,. but the sound for the caller is horrible. I don't make enough calls to care. Maybe the T27s are better? If so, that would be major. But AirPods are great for calls.

Noise cancellation
Winner - AirPods
It's active. It works well. But the Aukey is no slouch. I can mow with the T25s, no problem. Drowns out background noise just fine.

Style:
Winner - Aukey
I can't stand the white drip. The T25//27 looks great in black!

Comfort
Winner - AirPods
Just by a dash. They're a bit lighter. Absolutely no complaints about the Aukey though. Both are extremely comfortable for long sessions.

Value
Winner - Aukey
No contest

Overall
AirPods - If you make calls and are an audiophile,

Aukey - If you're anti-social and truly "good" sound is good enough, Aukey wins by a mile.

And personally, I'm an outdoorsman, so I will constantly drop things on a trail, in the lake, and run small things through the washer/dryer by accident. I won't buy sunglasses more than $20. Same with earbuds. And, as a long time SlickDealer, I'm also always impressed by value.

For casual music/podcasts, these can't be beat! If I had $200 to spend, I'd much rather have 8 sets of Aukeys!. (I paid $16.57!)

I don't, I was looking at the OP pair and Amazon suggested the "newer model". I was hoping someone would weigh in on notable functional differences. I think I would prefer the hang down style too but not sure.

Just clicked on this link and got the newer model for $23.36 with an extra coupon clip, thanks.

newer model isn't as waterproof but for the price I'll give them a shot.

I have a pair of This brand. Quality is very decent. I prefer them over my airpods and Quality is on par with the airpods

I have the previous model (usb micro charging) and I really like them. For $20 they work great AND work great for calls. A battery indicator would have been a bonus but for the money I have no complaints.

How did you get that price ? The newer one is $39.99 with coupon on site is 30% off ... At checkout came up as 27.99 before tax did you get a45% off code and should we bot clip the 30 off onsite?

I bought these for $40 when they were posted in November. All I use them for is connecting one ear bud (the left) at night when I'm browsing videos on my phone and they've been great for that. A single charge lasts quite a while and the case acts as a charger, so I only have to plug it in every so often.
