There are plenty of people what will go so they still get their $2 just the same
They don't really ship clearance items. Why ship something that costs more to ship then the product itself
I get it, but that's why you have shipping minimums. I'd spend more to get the deal, because I could use some other items anyway.

Because generally clearance items are all on store shelves. Not ready to ship from warehouses. And inventory is often scarce. While you're placing your order someone could be taking the last couple off the shelf.
Because it would likely still be a loss. They're not setting those shipping minimums based on 80% off items.
