This is a Max-Q design at 75w TGP. Still will obviously be good performance being a 3060 but dont expect similar performance to the Max-P 3060's running 100w-115w. But this is more thin and light for gaming design hence restricting the GPU to just 75w (Weird to say for 17.3" device, you'd think at that size you might as well just make it bigger to accommodate a cooler to cool at Max-P wattage)

Eluktronics really does the best job maximizing performance from the GPU. Their 3060's can run up to 115w typically and they even have a 130w overdrive mode I believe.

They have 3080's pushing 150w in a non-gigantic design.

I just bought the MSI GE75 from Costco for $1,100. Obviously (?) this GF75 with a 3060 GPU will outperform the GE75 with a 2060 GPU, but does the GE75 have better build quality? I bought the GE75 on the belief the keyboard would be nicer.

I have not checked personally, but I rather doubt that the build quality is any better in this GF75. MSI may have made some minor accommodations for the new GPU, but my guess is that the rest is a simple carryover from the previous iteration. I could be wrong, but MSI likes to carry over the same basic chassis across generations.

A bunch of my keys on the GE75 are trash. Thinking about returning...
