Seems the HP might be a better deal, am I missing something?

yeah i just pulled the trigger on the HP. this lenovo was FP a couple weeks ago though, and sold out...I wonder why the HP hasnt done better. I was going to post it but someone already did yesterday:

I've always had terrible luck with HP and their poor built quality. Having said that, I've never owned a Lenovo so I cant say if they're better built, but at this point anything is better than HP.

I would take this over the HP. Integrated Iris XE is about 30% faster than the vega7 on the AMD chip. Costco returns any day of the week over the crapshow hp is.

I purchased the Lenovo from Costco. retuning it. Really cheap, can not upgrade the 12GB memory as it is soldered to the MB. My lid is not straight. It is so thin that the top corners bend in some. Looks really cheap. did you choose this one over the costco Pavilion bc you prefer Intel/iris? seems the extra storage space, return policy, added warranty would make the costco HP deal much sweeter at only $42 more. Ryzen 7 4700u seems to have better overall performance numbers, but i guess it depends on what you're using it for.

The HP is from Costco also, but your point is correct regarding Iris Xe
