I own both also and the reason you got so many thumbs down is because you're forgetting about what makes this Samsung so great.
120hz OLED screen with inky blacks.
It destroys the new iPad Air 2020 model screen. 60hz and annoying gray backlight bleed.
You have to go all the way up to an iPad pro to get a comparable screen.
Screens are important since you're staring at that thing 100% of the time.

any deals on book cover keyboard?
After chatting with multiple reps (gawd, most of them are godawful, one of them just suddenly stopped responding and ignored til I closed and started new chat), I finally got one that understood what happened. I just wanted to "un-cancel" my cancellation, but since they apparently can't do that, they finally agreed to give me a one time price adjustment (partial refund) after it ships. Gave me a reference number, and I also gave them screenshots as I put the same exact order through.
So basically, "R" also gave me 10% cash back on the full cost ($107.80) instead of the discounted amount, and then Samsung will refund me the difference between my original order that I cancelled. So, in the end (after tax + Galaxy Tab S2 9.7" trade-in): $584.03 - $107.80 (cb) = $476.23!
As long as Samsung doesn't pull the rug under me, though I was really careful to make sure we understood each other correctly, and showed them screenshots of my reorder along the entire way to make sure and confirm all was good.
Still wish I could have changed the new order to a 256gb Navy model though =( oh well
Not to dishearten you but I would say be prepared about your decision what you do if they reject the PM request. However, it will be awesome if they approve.

Regardless of the weather situation down there, it's completely unethical for them to continue taking people's money and accepting Next Day / 2-Day / Whatever shipments knowing full well that Memphis is a complete stopneck right now. The whole hub has been basically shut down for a week+, and while things have slowly begun moving again, there's no rhyme or reason to making sure packages are delivered by actual priority. According to supposed actual employees there on Reddit, it's all a disorganized sh!7show with unlabeled pallets all over the place, just processing packages in no logical order to try to catch up. Screw FedEx.
Same here btw, Cordova -> Memphis -> Cordova -> Memphis -> etc. Paid for Next Day Express. Still says will be delivered by noon on 2/24 - it's now past 10:00PM, lmao.
Though in more positive news, I was able to get Samsung to price match me to my cancelled order, and got the partial refund tonight. And @SeeYouSunny and @belindiux were completely right - Samsung tried to walk back on their promises, but luckily I bit back with their own words, screenshots, and proof (btw guys, THANK YOU for the advice). Ended up needing to call though, because the last person I chatted with completely lied, said I would get the refund, then sent an email the next morning that made no sense at all essentially saying "just kidding we lied, we're just gonna take your money". After calling and actually talking to a rep, it was easier to explain my problem (plus give them evidence of 2 reps outright lying to me, back to back), and I had my refund quickly thereafter. Based on these experiences with Samsung's customer service, I don't think I'll be buying anything from them for a long time.
