I own both also and the reason you got so many thumbs down is because you're forgetting about what makes this Samsung so great.
120hz OLED screen with inky blacks.
It destroys the new iPad Air 2020 model screen. 60hz and annoying gray backlight bleed.
You have to go all the way up to an iPad pro to get a comparable screen.
Screens are important since you're staring at that thing 100% of the time.

I use it primarily for notes, marking up PDFs/PPTs, and reading (text)books. The S pen improvements combined with the 120Hz display have been phenomenal over previous generations. Everyone has different use cases but I can definitely see the appeal for media consumption and even laptop replacement needs for light tasks.
