Wearing this right now. It is comfortable for me but the initial head clamping force is a lot. The sound is not impressive. Hyper x Cloud 2s are much better in my opinion. There is a lacking in the deep end and highs are more pronounced than anything. If you want to use an eq as I do then it's not bad. For gaming, this isn't the greatest. You don't get directional sound. Only left and right. The ear cups I wore through them within 8 months of using them. The hyperx cloud 2 I wore them in after 3 years of continuous use and is my recommend headphones.
I don't have this one, I use the Sennheiser Game Zero (big/comfortable), however my piece of on this deal is that don't believe Amazon - this was $190/3 years ago. It's still a deal but wouldn't trust Amazon's whatever MSRP was before.
Very unlike a Sennheiser from reviews. Very disappointing sound.
i have the gsp 500 running on a g6 sound card and they sound quite fine. but i am glad you are disappointed by the sound maybe you can suggest something else so i can find a even better upgrade from the gsp series

I haven't had this one myself but I've read a handful of reviews. I'm more of a music headphone guy rather than a gaming headphone guy.
Here is someone who I trust and is an audiophile and he goes over a bunch of gaming headphones here including a gsp550 (but not a gsp600). He ended up liking the Astro A50 which had a surprising good sound signature for a "gaming headphone" and the bang for the buck, HyperX Cloud II (I had the Alpha S and hated it, I heard the Cloud II were way better.)
Although the only downside is that its not very good for music and cannot handle high impedance hp's. The g6 is an awesome, versatile dac/amp that can do gaming and music.
For other gaming headphones you might want to try the
On April 29th I found the deal got better at $95.66 with the 32% off.
The bad news is the reviews, sorted on most recent, point to a product that is discontinued and being dumped on the market.

You might want to check out GSX 1000 amp. They say it has pinpoint imaging in amazon reviews. It's on sale on drop. The GSX 1200 is also on drop.
