Check your total before buying anything from GamesPlanet. They started charging sales tax on purchases.

A while back when I noticed it, I sent them an email asking about it since I live in a place that doesn't charge tax on digital goods. They replied saying they are being proactive about it despite other online retailers not collecting tax when they should. I sent them a link to my local tax laws including the one stating digital goods aren't taxed. Their response was something along the lines of "if we weren't supposed to charge taxes then why do we have a tax permit?"

I didn't realize the tax laws could be that way.
