Welcome. The store that was $12.50, showed $39 for almost two weeks before it dropped to the $12.50 price. Another store that was 39, hasn't dropped yet. Don't know if it correlates yet. That's just when I first noticed them on clearance.

Not really. HM oil usually has some seal conditioners, but shouldn't affect anything. BITOG is the ultimate resource for that question.

This looks like a 12q jug with a spout. I thought it was 12 individual quarts. Comments say it's hard to know how much to dispence without measuring it yourself FYI

Great deal. I already have 60qts of 0w-20 from Costco. My car takes 0w-20, if my car only taken 5w-20, I would be all over this deal

If your engine cares about the difference, you have bigger problems. My Toyota specs 0w20 but I've used everything from 0w16- 10w40 with zero difference.
