Cheapest 55" I've seen in a while but NOT a smart TV (some of you may consider this a plus). Also terrible sound supposedly, probably best avoided without a sound bar or other sound system.
4x HDMI 2.0 (MHL/ARC/CEC)
1x Coaxial
1x YPbPr/AV
1x SPDIF
1x 3.5mm AUX/Headphone out
1x USB (music/pictures/firmware updates)
200x200 VESA

Can confirm the sound is pretty lousy. Sound bars are cheap.

Ugh.
The tcl 6 series is a great tv. And if you look through the old threads on it, it's a panel lottery to get a good one. I got lucky with my 65in 6 series a couple years ago and could not be happier with it.
I would file these tvs under good enough. I have not heard good speakers on any tv since tube tvs. If you are worried about sound there are many options you can do from a cheap class d amp and some bookshelf speakers or computer speakers to a receiver or sound bar. If you dont already have any of that stuff then you are overdue.
I think this link is to the same tv they are selling at Walmart, but I wish they were as specific about the products they sell as the manufacturer.

I like that this tv is an IPS panel, has arc, has component for old school game systems, has cec, and has a line out. They sale a 55" sceptre with android, but it has a VA panel and is not as bright.
I've had a TCL for a few months and it brings all sorts of weirdness and idiosyncrasies with it.
Btw, if someone can share with me their email receipt, I'd be grateful. I need a warranty repair. Please PM me after you make sure your TV is fine.
Probably a blown capacitor. Super easy fix if you're capable of opening a TV and using a soldering iron
