Ack! Someone bought the one in Gurnee while I was figuring out what this is.
Cool find OP.
Just FYI. BB will reserve open items for fifteen minutes automatically once somebody presses 'add to cart'. If that person doesn't pay for it, it goes back into stock. Maybe worth keeping an eye on the page if you still want it.

Good price, well worth it. I grabbed mine 2 years ago when jcpenney closed out appliances.
Some useful random info: Any LG frontloader washer or dryer even older models will stack on top, not sure about toploaders.
If it's missing parts, call LG warranty for free parts but do not tell them it's open box or they will deny the claim.
Throw the detergent cup into the wash or you'll get old buildup.
No softener dispenser so use a Downy Ball.
If you overstuff it or put in too much pre-wet clothes, it will overfill and leak a bit from the top.
The unit has a sensor on the top that looks for the weight of the compatiblen LG washers to fit snug into. If it does not detect the washer, it will give an error code. It might be bypassed by applying an object to simulate a washing machine...
You don't really want to use this as a standalone washer anyway as it does not filter when it drains. It also does not dispense detergent and fabric softener like a normal washer machine so you have to watch it.
Watch the installation video and see how it is installed. You are really better off with a portable washing machine.
We've had a Kenmore one of these for a few years now. It's essentially a rebrand of this model from LG. I'm not going to lie and say we use it all the time, but it's awesome for when we need it and I trust it more than a traditional washing machine for ultra-delicate items as it has a very small impeller and seems about the same as hand-washing. If you can get it for this price, it's a no-brainer. Hell, it's about the same price as a regular riser.
