DeWalt makes their labeling/configurations so confusing. From the pics and detailed description on the Lowes and the DeWalt sites, this DeWalt kit model # DCK211SK comes with two DCB120 batteries which I "think" is a 1.5 Ah battery. But then some of this kits reviews are from 2011, so maybe DeWalt bumped them up to 2.0 in later years? Totally guessing here.
And like what's the difference compared to a DCB127 and what the hell is 'XR Lithium'?

edit- When I check this kit on Amazon, the reviewers from the last year say the got 2.0 batteries. Also Black & Decker chimed in on the Q&A 10 months ago and also said they're 2.0 Ah.

This kit is almost 10 years old. They're not going to even give you the dcb127 (yellow top) 2.0 -which didn't have the fuel gauge for this price. The S2 at the end of the kit model number signifies that they are the old 1.5Ah.

If I was starting out and looking for a 12v line, I would go with Milwaukee 12v over Dewalt.

More variety of tools, many are brushless, better batteries, and more frequent deals pop up for Milwaukee 12v.

I have a 20v dewalt drill. Looking for a 20v impact as well. I would like to stay w the same batteries if possible.

12 volt is a good option for a diy homeowner. But do yourself a favor and pay the extra $50 for the xtreme brushless set.

One needs some experiences to appreciate why brushless is better, the $149 extreme set are better deal. Dewalt 12V tools have better ergonomics, their handles are not fatter than their 20V tools.

I agree and the recent Bosch 2 piece compact powerful 12V was a much better deal
