I have also seen reports that there are two separate Beech handle styles on these. I don't know if that suggests counterfeit v. the real deal or if there was a change in manufacturing at some point (NOS maybe?) . I've purchased several sets for myself and as gifts and all have handles that are shaped the same as their plastic handled drivers. ​
3 of the 5 drivers have bent shafts... They wobble more than a little. The stampings are not straight and look like they were either partially rubbed off or incompletely applied. Two of the drivers also seemed dirty (grease specs?) down near the tips. Package looked fine, don't think it was a return.
Comparing to my used ones these don't seem right. Going to send them back to Amazon and check the replacement set.
