Why would a book be for girls only? Any kid can read it.

Oh good lord... I do believe people could find something (insert random prefix)ist in everything, if that's what you are always looking for. What f'ing miserable life you must have and anyone that has to mandatorily be around you, because I can't imagine anyone voluntarily doing so.
It's not just my opinion. There are plenty of write ups in various publications. Seems like you enjoy attacking people, which I can't imagine other people would enjoy either.
May I suggest you actually read or watch some of the content in the books / shows?

I think I've watched every episode there is and don't see that it is like that. Pink is a terrible color since it is usually a sign of botched laundry -_- but to each their own. Women are extremely empowered on the show. There's even that episode where the mom shuts everyone up for saying that women can't do certain things. Like someone above said, you (not you specifically but in general) will always find something wrong with anything that's been created. Le sigh.
If people choose to let their kids read this then that is obviously their choice I was merely hoping they could make an informed decision rather than blindly assuming all books are appropriate for role modeling.
