Bought two of this couple weeks ago.
Quality seems very good, Daisy chain is working nicely. (One display port from my laptop was able to drive both)

I also love the stand is able to pivot the monitor.

Did they each have a different color temperature?

I bought two and one had a yellow hue, the other had a bluish hue. No changes in settings or calibration with colorimeter could get them to match. Both looked good on their own but next to each they looked very different. I think they used a different model panel in the two monitors.

This was my first non-ultrasharp in years and I am pretty happy with the performance, txt looks good at native res and colors out of the box are close enough to 25" ultrasharp I have next to it. I will not say it's better, but will say that at listed price it makes it hard to justify 2x or more for the Dell. While stock stand seemed great, I have it mounted on dual monitor pole stand as I wanted the center higher than any stock stand would provide. Using DP chain from Dell to this one, but would work the other way too. I will likely swap out the power cord as it is way too fat and pretty short if you are looking to do good cable management. The boarder is 4 sided 5/16 in. the same and no visible brand or light making it perfect for dual monitor or more setup. The controls being on the backside might be a negative for some. Others may wish to have a usb-c connection, but not seeing that available at this price point with 27" 1440 native monitors.

Dell S Series has crap stand. You would need to go up to P series for adjustable stand.

Because 720p was the original hd with 1280 x 720 pixels; 4k with 1920 x 1080 pixels.

I would have jumped based on price, but it's 60hz. Need something better for gaming.

I had the same issue with the dell ultra sharps. One yellowish and one bluish. Separate they look fine but next to each other they did not. Wonder if it had to do with the daisy chain. Very confused

it's one of the marketing terms. they also call it QHD or WQHD. quad high def, since it is like four 720p displays. not that people use 720p computer monitors. real 2k from a cinema standpoint is something like 2048 x 1080.
