Original price of $31.98.

As stated, YMMV, but I've found them at multiple stores and Brickseek shows stock at a lot of different stores in cities I used to live.

I was able to snag 80 for a build I'm doing. Unfortunately I purchased a bunch at $10.75 before I found them for $7.99.

The Lowes website will state the price in your chosen store, but will indicate it is not available for online purchase.

The Wafer LED downlight is wet location listed – making it ideal for use in a breadth of outdoor residential, hospitality, commercial and multifamily applications.

Easily dim to 10% to adjust the brightness of your space

IC rated – safe to install in direct contact with insulation and wet location listed making it ideal to use in covered outdoor areas or bathrooms

The LED module maintains at least 70 percent light output for up to 36,000 hours at 6 hours a day every day, the light would last for over 16 years

Wafer-thin downlight edge-lit LED technology provides even illumination throughout the space with a finishing touch of a matte white trim

Emergency battery currently not available

Buy with confidence, 5-year limited warranty

Does the driver need to be mounted or can it just sit on top of the lamp?

It has screws for if you want to mount it, but it can just be slid in the hole and rest on the drywall.

Being my studs are all still exposed, I'll be mounting mine

Actually it looks like there is a switch on the control box and you can choose 3K, 4K or 5K. A nice feature. OP can you confirm that color temperature is selectable?

Thanks for confirming, I was hoping it was but then the specs said 5K - I wish the 6in lights were on clearance too, not sure if I could get away with 4

Lay it on the ceiling

Product a contractor would love. If your putting this in sheet rock I would suggest reinforcing the hole in the event you need to remove it.

Is that easy to remove old can and install this can-less one?
To remove old can, do I need to go to attic ? or just pulling down the can from room ceiling?
thank you

NP.

Why don't you think you could get away with 4"?

I too originally wanted 6 for the garage, but I have 4" in my main homes hallway, bedroom, living room...but have 6" in my kitchen. Don't really notice any difference in output.

Being the back building is a new build, I figured I could just do 4" everywhere. Especially since they are dimmable, and exterior rates, I'm using them in the soffet and open patio as well. And the price was too good to pass up!

The can is anchored to a stud. You do not want to pull it down unless you plan on replacing drywall.

thank you. So I have to go to attic

or, can I simply discard the can, just pulling wires from the can?

Don't remove old can, just get something that works with what you have

This, big time. Ignore at your own peril
