Isn't this just MSRP without the new app sign-up?

Good price but I'd recommend spending a bit more for the Koda or Karu. Pellets are usable but much more of a hassle to deal with. The Koda 12 (gas) or Karu (gas/wood/charcoal) are much better options to work with. Koda 16 and Pro are worth the money if you want to go all out but 2.5 times the price of this one.

Have you used the Fyra? Have a friend that has one - piece of cake. All the reviews are positive. Yeah it's a little more work than propane but imho a better result.

I've watched the vids of people using the Freya and the pellets don't seem like a hassle at all.

It's basically the same thing as lighting up one of those pellet smoker tubes, then you add pellets in from the top as needed. Looks pretty simple to me.

No I haven't but I have used pellets on the 3 and the Pro and found it to be annoying to say the least. Good quality and dry pellets are necessary but refilling and constantly shaking the hopper was a hassle. Any wind made it more difficult to light as well. Hopefully they've improved on the design so can't speak for the Fyra in particular. I'd bet you'd still be refilling quite often and managing the fire still a lot more than propane (none needed) and lump charcoal+hardwood.

In terms of better result, that's debatable. It's an often debated topic but for Neapolitan pizzas, I haven't been able to tell a discernible difference between pellets or propane. Only time I noticed a difference in taste is when pellets or wood don't burn clean and you get some soot. For meats and other longer cooks, yes, you'll get different tastes out of pellets but for that, I'd still choose lump charcoal+wood. It's just easier and more consistent heat. Not saying pellets are a bad option but IMO the others are better.

In theory yes, but you don't want the pellets to smolder, you want a flame to give you heat. Simple is relative. But in my experience, propane and charcoal/wood are easier and more consistent. Like I said, I haven't used the Fyra so maybe they've improved the design but still likely more work than the others.
