Not necessarily in this case. Bonsaii used to make the Ativa (store brand) shredders for OfficeDepot and they were pretty dependable with 120 minutes of run time and large sheet capacity.

I have no experience with their laminators but their paper shredders have insane run times and were pretty dependable/affordable back in the day

A3 is 40% larger than A4, and a far less common consumer size. It's not unusual to see A3 or Tabloid capable machines going for 50-100% more than the more common A4/Letter size versions.

Ugh, bought this and it ruined the first two pages I tried to laminate. Fed in, but jammed on the output. Disappointing.. back it goes.
