Agreed. was pretty faded when it went down, was bleached out by 6 months. Sticking with bulk by the half-yard from the landscape yard from now on and just dealing with putting a tarp down in my truck.

The two times I used this stuff it had all sorts of other stuff in the mulch that's not supposed to be there like wire, metal pieces, larger chunks of wood on top of being uneven coloring so I would steer clear of this stuff and go for the Earthgro mulch at HD.
(don't buy it now buy it whenever it goes on sale for $2 later on this spring)

Not same price forever. Does go down to 2.50 periodically. Even less so $2. I needed about 25 bags and been checking for awhile and they been $3.33.

thanks for the post. i do like the HD mulch better as it holds up a little more than the Lowes stuff. Im hoping HD sends out the spring black friday sale soon.

I've been waiting for this to go on sale again. It is 5 for $10 here in Pensacola, FL. Don't care if it only last 6 months. I've used it before and it is fine. Putting it down on a house that is going to be listed for sale. Only need a month or two out of it.
