Amazon giving now $40 (was $30 and expired) for your first delivery using Amazon Key for Prime members. I received the $30 credit last time (after delivery of my first order). Used up my original $30 credit from the KEY30 order. Just placed a new order and the $40 credit applied too! This time it applied instantly with the order, instead of getting $30 AFTER the 1st delivery.

What is Key by Amazon In-Garage Delivery?

Key by Amazon In-Garage Delivery is a secure, convenient way to receive Amazon packages inside your garage. It helps prevent package theft and provides protection from potentially damaging weather like heat and rain. Key by Amazon is also contactless, because there's no interaction between you and the delivery associate, or contact between the associate and the garage door.
Key In-Garage Delivery requires a compatible Smart Garage Hub or Wifi Garage Door Opener to enable authorized delivery associates to leave Amazon packages inside your garage.
Is In-Garage Delivery safe?

Protecting your privacy and security is our top priority. That's why we run comprehensive background checks on Amazon drivers before their first delivery. For added layers of security, we confirm the authorized driver is at your address with the correct package before granting them temporary one-time access to open your garage door. No access codes or keys are given to the driver. We also send real-time notifications on the Key by Amazon app that tell you what's happening during your delivery. Finally, if you change your mind on delivery day, you can block access to your garage in the Key by Amazon App. You have total control.
Is my existing garage door compatible with Key by Amazon?

If you can already open and close your garage door using the myQ app, you can set up In-Garage Delivery immediately in the Works With section of the myQ app. If you cannot open and close your garage door using the myQ app you will need to install a Smart Garage Hub to make your garage door Key compatible. As part of the installation process on the myQ App you will be prompted to set up Key In-Garage Delivery.

How do I place an In-Garage Delivery?

When shopping on Amazon simply choose the "FREE Key Delivery" option at checkout to request an in-garage delivery.
How does an In-Garage Delivery work?
On delivery day, you'll receive a notification on the Key by Amazon app notifying you that your package is out for delivery. Right before the driver arrives at your garage door, you'll receive an "Arriving Now" notification. The driver will open your garage with their hand-held Amazon scanner. Amazon will verify that the package belongs to that address, and that the driver is close to the garage door, before opening it. The driver will then place the package just inside your garage, out of your driving path, and close the door with their hand-held device. Once the delivery is complete and your garage door is closed, you will receive a final notification. The driver will always make sure your garage door is closed and secure before leaving the premises. Note: To receive Key Delivery notifications and control your garage door access for delivery, make sure to download the Key by Amazon App and login with your Amazon credentials.
Do I need a camera for In-Garage Delivery?

No, a camera is optional for Key by Amazon In-Garage Delivery. Having a compatible camera will allow you to watch deliveries as they happen. Compatible cameras include Ring Indoor Cam, Ring Stick Up Cam and the myQ Smart Garage Camera.
What if a delivery wasn't completed to my satisfaction?

All in-garage deliveries are backed by the Key by Amazon Happiness Guarantee. If an in-garage delivery was not completed to your satisfaction, or your product or property was damaged as a direct result of the delivery, we'll work with you to correct the problem.
*Terms and Conditions for In-Garage Delivery Promotion

This was a huge hassle the last time, but I think I messed up the instructions. The fine print had a minimum order on the first order and the second order was where you received the credit. I ended up beating an Amazon rep into submission to get my $30 and immediately disabled the key app. I really don't want people in my garage, and Amazon uses waaaay too many temps/contractors. Come back and rob your house later

You can select garage delivery and use garage door wall control to lock it so door can not be opened with either myq or your wireless garage door opener. Driver will try to deliver but will fail to open the door and end delivering by front door/porch. You get the credit without allowing anyone in your garage. Once you use up your credit, unlink the door from amazon key.

FWIW, I messed up thinking it was like a gift card and ordered something that was $16. Turned out it did not allow me to use the rest of the credit afterwards. I even ended up returning the item because it wasn't working properly. Expecting to get my full $30 credit back, I contacted CS but they only get me have $16 credit, the same amount of the item I returned. Frown
