Bought a pair of Skechers several years ago. Just a casual slip on for occasional use. In just over a year the shoes, mostly the soles, just started falling apart. Not from wear either. Just SOOOO cheaply made, the glue failed. Would be one thing if it was just mine, but my brother bought a pair too and the exact same thing happened. Pieces just started falling off. Needs to be a much better deal for either of us to waste any more money on Skechers. Price is $35.37 on Amazon, so not a huge savings. (Amz avg $42.95).

These look good but barely last a year. Do not buy if you care about durability.
