It was $129 also. Great saw, I'd pass on this.

I have this miter saw and it has been great for me. my only complaints are that its only single bevel, not a deal breaker for me. The fence is a little short to do crown, but I just made a jig out if scrap. Other than that, it's been flawless.

Shame it doesn't include the cordless Ryobi ONE+ 18 Volt 10 In. Brushless Dual Bevel Sliding Miter Saw instead of a corded one, since they are including the cordless drill and circular saw.

stack this with the coupon! I prefer milwaukee or dewalt tho. but if you already have some tools by ryobi, this would be a good deal.

That's the non-sliding 10" that's normally $134. I don't think I have seen. The 10" sliding that cheap before. I bought the sliding for $219 tested a few cuts, and wasn't happy. Returned for the non-sliding and much happier.

Slide wasn't pushing in easily out of the box, so naturally that will get worse as saw dust gets in. It was also off square some from the fully pulled out to all the way in. Probably only like 1/8-1/16th" so that might be okay for some.

I got the 10" sliding miter for $179 and it's been great. I saw some of the reviews said the same thing as you that it didn't slide smoothly. I wonder if it's a hit or miss thing. I've done 3 rooms of laminate and baseboards plus other random things and it still slides as smooth as day one.

From reading reviews, I think the answer is yes. That's sliders in general. It seems either you get a great one or else you get a problematic one in some way. Sounds like the "eh" rate is higher than most things QC would catch. I looked at more of the DIY/entry stuff like Kobalt/Ryobi type stuff.

Could easily flip the drill and circular saw for around $200 and keep the miter saw, only paying $80 for the saw.
