I have the X60. Bought from Costco about 5-6 months ago.
About to return it due to constant restarting / WiFi drops.
Reset it numerous times, even to factory default....still drops.
Had the cable company bring a new modem....still drops.

Never had the issue with a Linksys EA9500.
Incorrect, most people will never saturatue both bandwidths to bottle neck their speeds or connection with wifi 6. I dont know anyone who pushes over 1Gbps on multiple devices at all times to make a dual band system choke?

Different gear for different cases.

Thats cause the technology in the X60 is superior to the triband Deco M9+. While the Deco M9+ is a great system it cant compete with the X60 in performance and throughput.

A M9+ with optimal client and close range can push about 550 Mbps while an X60 around 750-800 Mbps.
Obligatory "wait for Wi-Fi 6e to drop big money" comment

If you haven't done so, make sure to update it to the latest firmware. I've been running 2 sets of Deco X60 (6 units total) in a large house, no issue at all. I do have version 2 units, not sure if you have version 1. Heard version 1 had more issues, but the latest firmware supposedly fix the issues.

And on the other end of that, I've had plenty of trouble with that Linksys and other Linksys routers. One of my Linksys AC routers had a temp sensor fail and would only work if I had it in front of the air conditioner vents.

How do you add a usb HD to these things without a USB port like on regular routers, so u can share stuff?

You'd probably have to invest in a NAS. Definitely a more expensive solution, but also will bring more storage and better experience.

Decent review comparing these to some of the competition.

Bought these with last sale. Compared to my old netgear Nighthawk these are excellent. I have 12 or so wifi bulbs and my lifx brands bulbs NEVER drop anymore (old router used to drop off constantly).

Excellent price. Originally missed this deal by a week previously, but needed replacements, so purchased on the high end of pricing. Will be requesting a price match when the sale starts on 03/03. Thanks, OP!

It's only dual-band. Great for a smaller home, but anything large and you'll want the dedicated back-haul. Buying this is like buying an electric car with a 30-mile range.

It might be better to pull the trigger on deco M9 which have tri band for $180 new at costco. Seems to perform better than this.

M9 plus was $169.99 just last week at Costco. Although that one is not wifi6, but is triband. Been running solid so far.

I really wanted to keep my M9 set from the last sale but it seemed that heat buildup on the bottom of the units might have been causing connection instability. Had them out in the open and away from any other sources of heat generation.

Think I've also seen that X60 top speeds do exceed those of the M9 even though it's dual band. But M9 speeds would have been more than enough for my internet plan/speed.
