  1. Call your nearest Pep Boys to check if they have the engine oil you want in stock and that it is priced at $29.90 or lower. If you plan on buying the oil that day I recommend asking the staff to hold the oil because Pep Boys seem to keep very limited quantities of Shell Rotella (red jug) oil at any one time. If they have what you want at <= $29.90 per jug go to the store and skip to step 7 .
  2. If the Pep Boys you called have the engine oil you want but it costs more than $29.90, go to https://pepboys.com/shell-rotella-oil/c/92000002, select the nearest store (button between Search and Login/Register), make sure the online price is at most $29.90, and make an online order. The type and quantities available will vary depending on the store you selected for pick up. Check back or change the store until you get what you want.
  3. You will receive an email from Pep Boys titled "We've received your order".
  4. It is unlikely that you will receive an email telling you that your order is ready for pick up.
  5. Have the "We've received your order" email from Pep Boys as a print out or on your phone.
  6. Go to the Pep Boys store and tell them you are there to pick up an online order and show them your "We've received your order" email.
  7. Pay for the motor oil and make sure the total is accurate.
  8. Save the receipt.

Practically. They had coupons you could stack that instead of being per 5qt...added to make a super qpon. Each on was $5. Stack $5 and you got $25 off per jug. I raided shelf...so did many other SD jerks like myself.

in 20 yrs of slickdealing...this was hands down the best deal scored.

Hey any suggestions for places that do oil changes when I bring your own oil and filter? Walmart used to have like $8 for labor pit crew change like years ago, I only had to get oil change twice during COVID lockdown period from Take 5 Oil Change and they me like $65 each time for oil change.

I just went to Pepboys and bought 2 off the shelf. It rang up $29.90 each. No need to order online first. :-)

Bought 2 - 5 qt jugs back in late January. Submitted the rebate on 2-1-2021. As of 2-28 it still hasn't been processed and is only showing 30$ instead of 60$. Never had an issue with pennzoil or Mobil1 rebates so let's see how this one goes. Not looking promising so far.

Edit: my submission was for the previous deal pba-210201, this is pba-210301.

Not a happy camper with Pep Boys. My order on Jan 30 for the $29.99 5 qt jug with $30.00 rebate never was processed. It always said order not processed and now the deadline expired for the rebate. Hopefully your luck will be better than mine.

My Pep Boys no longer has retail sales due to Covid. They are a service only location now. This might be worth the 40 minute drive to the next closest though. Nice deal!

How does this work? The rebate instruction says to mail rebate with receipt and then also says to submit online. Do we have to do both for the same rebate or we is this 2 different options to submit the same rebate to Pepboys?

Not seeing the 0w-20 in the jugs.

pep Boys rebates are always some of the worst ones to ever get your money from from my experience,
