The Ridgid Octane Jig Saw doesn't give you any major reasons to shy away. It's a solid bet for any Pro who's looking to cut the cord without reaching up into premium prices.
Lowest price I've seen for this Jigsaw.

Funny I have been thinking about getting one of these since my B&D corded jigsaw started acting up on my last project, moving most of my tools over to the RIDGID platform has allowed me to have so much more flexibility and you can't beat having a LSA on the tools either! Thanks OP!

I'm fully committed to the Ridgid line. Perfect for me (shadetree mechanic & DIYer).

I posted another deal on their angle grinder if you're in the market for one!

Great price great saw. I wish direct tools processed and shipped a little faster than they do, but they do have great deals.

Only way I know to get LSA on batteries is to buy a tool/battery combo kit, which I have done several times so most, if not all of my batteries are covered by the LSA.

I think LSA covers battery packs that accompany a charger (not just a tool), too. But I never see sales.

Once you register, you can upload the receipt into the LSA portal, then call Ridgid CS to activate the Lifetime Warranty.
