First post so hopefully not missing anything. Amazon has the 65inch of the H9G in stock as of writing this post. It's not really much of a discount but atleast it's lower than the inflated prices some sellers were charging on there. This size has been notoriously hard to come by. Shipped and sold by Amazon. It's showing me 6 in stock.

Yes. It does appear sold out now. Atleast the ones shipped and sold by Amazon at the regular price.

Don't get me wrong, I trust rtings' judgement quite a bit, but I've seen a few reviews where the r635 actually fares better than the h9g:

So I think it's a tough choice, and it mostly depends on 1) your personal preference in terms of brightness, 2) your room layout and overall light

They're both great TV sets.
