I have bought 10, 15, 25, and two sets of 45 lbs plates. Been using them nearly a year and they hold up great despite "economy" being in the title.

They can have a chemical smell upon opening the box, but this dissipated quickly in my experience without the need for extra ventilation.

Great deal overall IMO

Also, if you aren't in a rush to buy right now then don't buy. For those trying to build a home gym quickly, prices are inflated on used weights enough to make this a good deal.

If not, by all means, just wait. 👍🏾

I bought the colored bumper plates from titan and they had a very rubber smell to them. It took about 1 week for them to completely air out in a hot garage. That being said, the plates are great quality

It's a good product. I've had my set for about 3 years. For about 1 year I've had it at my gym in the back corner. Several individuals use it during solo training throughout the day.

Don't get me wrong I don't think this is a particularly outstanding deal, but is there any reason for the claim of "way superior quality" other than a smell that goes away in a week?

I had these for a while. Good price for a bumper plate but they are a bit difficult to hold on to vs the ones from Rep fitness or Rogue. The reason being is that the indentation is a bit too far in so unless you have larger than average hands it's difficult to reach that part with your fingers and thumbs.

Search for local vendors in your area tbh...I found a vendor in my area and got 45 lb plates for $72/each. And I didn't pay shipping because I did pick up.
