Currently $70 on lego.com.
A set of 800-900 classic legos normally go for $30-40.
And those base plates (note they are 16 stud, 1/2 size of larger baseplates) really sweeten the deal.

You can't really see the top of the package, which gives you the breakdown of bricks, very well. But from the pictures it appears to pretty much be random widths and thicknesses. Which is a shame because the LEGO buckets I had as a kid in the 80's had a much much higher percentage of full height bricks with 4 x 2 pegs or 2 x 2 pegs at the top. Which was much nicer because if you're trying to mimic a "brick" or "CMU" wall, it makes sense to use the 4 x 2's as your main units and 2 x 2's around doors and windows.If LEGO ever decides to make a box/bucket with mostly THOSE, then I, a late 30's adult, will likely buy half a closet full of them.

I stumbled across this in store, it's a great package for a great price if you just want piecey parts. So many Legos for so little money. I just wish there was a comparable set for technics as well.
