I'd highly recommend the warm-light next gen version of the Oasis. The yellow-adjustable lighting does a world of good if you're trying to read after staring at a computer screen all day.
The only difference between these and newest model is the warm-light feature and about a 13% larger battery in the newer models. Otherwise, both this and the newer model share same screens, CPU, and connectivity.

I had the warm light version and actually returned it for this one. The magnets on the back are different and I didn't like the warm light.
I just wish that they would finally just make a larger one again. I don't want to be forced to buy a Sony, where the marketplace isn't as good as Amazon's

Just make the font larger. All the kindles are about the same size screen wise

This one is 7", all of the other Kindles (with the exception of the now ancient DX) are 6". It doesn't sound like much, but going from 6 to 7 on the diagonal with the same aspect ratio is a 36% increase in area.

You and me both. I know everyone says to just boost the font size, but I don't feel like having to flip the page every six words. I have the old, larger Kindle and would pay good money for something about 50% larger.
Title should really state this is an older generation. I know it's not for everyone, but considering I stare at screens all day and also get migraines, the newest Oasis generation's warm-light filter is amazing.

Great bang for your buck and this model sold out last time it was this price and made it to frontpage.
Alternatively, Kindle Oasis 32GB Wifi+Cellular, Graphite [woot.com] also available for $189.99 + tax.

Used, like new for $129.99 with choice of color.
I wouldn't pay $150 unless it had the warm backlight
