I got one of these last year from Best Buy for the same price (edit: I see it was actually $149.xx in Nov 2020 from Best Buy) and I have been very happy with it. Wanted another one, but Best Buy's price went back up to $200 as soon as I got mine installed. Don't have a club membership, but may have to make something happen here.

Not sure why the sarcasm on the speaker count... The sound bar has 3 speakers, plus the 2 surrounds = 5. The sub is the .1

I assume the sub has it's own power cord. Do the 2 satellite speakers also need to be plugged in?

correct. 2 Satellite speakers have wires which go to Sub.

Thanks. Best Buy price matched and it is ready for pickup now.

I was thinking of finally joining Costco if necessary, but wasn't going to pursue Sam's Club - due to some nonsense they pulled years ago. I had a membership with them for the store in my town... A couple years ago it just closed like normal one night and never opened again. They didn't even tell the employees, they all had to find out when they were locked out the next day. When I asked for a refund on my membership, they said no, the membership was still valid at all other stores, even though the next closest was 40+ miles away. Uggh.

I've had this for about 6mo. There is an issue with the audio "cutting out" in low-volume scenes. What seems to happen is the surround speakers seem to turn off completely under a certain volume threshold. It's a little jarring but isn't super common.

Vizio released a firmware update that claims to solve it but it wasn't a 100% fix for me. I still get it from time to time though it does seem to happen far less now.

The firmware update process was a pain. I was unplugging power from the sound bar which didn't work even after like 15 attempts. Unplugging the power cord at the wall instead of from the sound bar worked first try though. Keep that in mind if you pick this up!

For those who already own this, how long are the wires for the the two back speakers to the sub? I most likely have to snake them along the wall and was wondering if there was enough length.

well even if there wasn't, you could splice into them. Likely just a standard speaker wire.
