5% eBay Bucks, ends 3/5.

FYI, for those that haven't heard eBay is discontinuing their everyday 1% eBay bucks beginning 4/1/21. Hopefully that means there will be more frequent, higher percentage promotions in the future.

https://pages.ebay.com/rewards/20...9065625388

What is the Promotion?
5% in eBay Bucks on every qualifying item (the "Promotion").
Who's eligible?
Only invited, registered eBay Bucks participants who receive the promotional offer from eBay in My Messages are eligible. Sorry, no forwarding—the offer is not transferable.
Promotion details
The Promotion starts at 4:00AM PT on March 3rd, 2021 and ends at 11:59PM PT on March 5th, 2021 (the "Promotion Period"). The Promotion applies to any qualifying items purchased during the Promotion Period that meet the minimum purchase requirement. You must activate the offer to qualify.
*Qualifying items exclude all items in the following categories: Classifieds; Business & Industrial, but only for Heavy Equipment within that category; Real Estate; Gift Cards & Coupons, including eBay Gift Cards, Gift Cards, and Digital Gifts within that category; Bullion within the Coins & Paper category; and all categories in Motors, except Parts & Accessories.
Rewards are capped at $100 per transaction and $500 per Earn Period. See eBay Bucks Terms & Conditions for other program restrictions. Purchases must be completed during the Promotion Period and paid for before the Promotion ends. eBay reserves the right to cancel, amend, or revoke the Promotion at any time.

The less you buy, the greater the chance you get at getting a coupon.

My state(VA) also gives me a 1099 if I sell more than $600. People who are the treasurer for their fantasy football league are also going to be screwed.

Ridiculous.

Just to be sure, does this work on offers that are sent from a seller and accepted (within the time period)?

In the past, as long as the sale (you accepting the offer) and payment occur during the offer period, yes. So I imagine it'll be the same this time.

Okay, thank you...that's what I thought. I didn't see it listed as an exclusion, but I wanted to make sure.

Just bought something and noticed that the eBay Bucks amount earned was 6% of the item's price before taxes & shipping. Never seen this happen before. I guess that's 5% on top of the standard 1% (which will disappear after this month).

That's completely false. I have a dozen accounts and the ones that haven't bought a single item for over two years never receive eBay bucks promo since 2019. The ones that got the offer were always the accounts that had a couple of purchases.

My account that received 8% last time received 5% this time as well. I did purchase a small item I needed during the 8%.

I figured this would happen. From 20%, 15%, and 10%. Now basically nothing.
