Direct Tools Outlet [directtoolsoutlet.com] is having a 15% off everything sale using code "FLASH15" through Friday March 5th, in-store and online. $7 flat rate shipping.

For example, the Ridgid Flip Top Portable Work Support is $16.99 at DTO, whereas Home Depot is $32.97:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGI.../100618242
in Tools (6)
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

20% off and free shipping, or bust.
Their inventory for ship able items has been pretty bad for months now. I'd say at least half the items listed on direct tool's site are unavailable. They never used to do this in the past, if the item wasn't available it just wasn't listed. It actually made it more interesting checking the site daily, to see if there was anything new. Now it's just extremely annoying, seeing intriguing items that haven't been available since last November (Ridgid Jointer) still listed.
If it were 15% off and free shipping, it still wouldn't be the best deal Direct Tools Outlet has offered.

Wait for the next one.

I love mine, but it does take up a fair amount of space in the garage FYI. I love how easily you can get your saw out and maneuver it around though, very worth the extra space!

The one I am looking at folds up nicely. I think I would keep it in the folded position and up against the wall until I needed it. Thoughts?

Anyone have opinions on which glue gun is the best one?
I have the bigger one and I like it. It is a bit big though esp w a 4Ah battery. I guess it depends on what you need to do with it.

4 Ah moves a lot of glue.

I had a Hitachi C12RSH mounted on mine and it was not the easiest to unfold when I was using it. The stand was probably designed for smaller and lighter saws, though. IMO, it's good if you need to move it around on jobsites, but if in the garage, you may want to make a folding miter saw stand.

Or, we ended the old sale before starting the new sale.

Everyone does it, so why is it a big deal when Direct Tools does?

Actually, the best sale on all items in recent memory was the New Year's 30% off sale with free shipping.

That one was great, scored my narrow crown stapler and 16g finish nailer blem for $180. Got a bunch of other stuff as well.
I think that happened because the Christmas sale wasn't very good and they needed to dump stock.

Thank you. I'm not sure how I missed that.
It wasn't there when they rolled out the site change that offered in store. They added it later.

The biggest favor one can do themselves is keep a spreadsheet of DTO pricing as they like to play a lot of games.

If it's not at least 20% off their almost regular every day prices it's not worth buying, especially if you're paying shipping and playing roulette with when or if they'll ship your order.

So many of their items consistently rotate into a 30-40% off "hot buy" or DOTD rotation that 15-20% off base pricing, comparatively speaking, isn't much of a deal.

That and they don't do price adjustments, will cancel all or part of your order with no warning and can sit on orders for 1-2 weeks before shipping.

To be fair, DTO does list the online available tools first, then lists the store-only items afterwards. There are nearly 400 tools available online, probably affected by pandemic tool shortages.
Not true, there are a couple of tools that i want, they are not available online. But they are also out of stock in all of their stores. Online button is grayed out, while in store is blue, but no store has them in stock.
